
MSIF’s unique Awards aimed exclusively to clinicians and researchers who work in and are from low- and middle-income countries are now open for applications.
The MS International Federation is funding research awards in the form of two-year fellowships (McDonald) and 3-6 month (Du Pré) travel grants, which are aimed exclusively to clinicians and researchers who work in and are from low- and middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank. Applicants will have at least post-graduate experience in MS.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are open to applications for virtual learning and mentorship experiences, or for relocation within the same country or world region. For full information, please see information pages below by clicking on “McDonald Fellowship” or “Du Pré Grant”.
McDonald Fellowship – funded by ECTRIMS and ARSEP
• 2 years grant
• £30,000 GBP per year, to cover travel and living costs
• £2,000 GBP for the host institution, for lab expenses
Du Pré Grant
• 2-6 months
• Up to £6,000 GBP to cover travel and living costs
